For an emergency
If you may have taken the wrong medicine or dose, have a severe reaction, or need urgent medical care, contact your local emergency services or poison-control service now. Do not wait for an App notification or support response.
Med Admin is an organization tool
Med Admin helps a user transcribe a prescription schedule, receive device notifications, and keep a personal administration log. Med Admin is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. It does not provide medical advice and is not a substitute for a licensed doctor, pharmacist, nurse, emergency service, or other qualified healthcare professional.
The App does not prescribe or decide
Med Admin does not decide which medicine you should take, the correct dose, whether medicines can be combined, whether a medicine is safe for you, or whether treatment should start, stop, or change. A schedule shown in the App is calculated only from the interval and first-dose time entered by the user.
Photo recognition can make mistakes
Text suggested from a prescription-label photo may be incomplete or inaccurate because of image quality, handwriting, label design, language, abbreviations, or recognition error. A photo scan is never pharmacist or clinician verification. Compare every field and generated time with the original label before saving or acting on it.
Notifications can fail
A reminder may be early, late, silent, or absent. Delivery depends on the device, system settings, notification permissions, time zone, clock, Focus mode, battery, and software operation. Do not use Med Admin as the sole reminder for time-critical treatment and do not use it for emergency monitoring.
Late, missed, repeated, or uncertain doses
The App's “taken,” “skipped,” and “snooze” controls record an action; they are not recommendations. If a dose is late, missed, vomited, repeated, or uncertain, do not guess based on the App. Follow the label or contact the dispensing pharmacist or prescriber for instructions specific to you.
As-needed medicines and supply estimates
An as-needed button records what you report after you take a medicine; it does not tell you whether, when, or how much to take. Supply and refill figures are patient-entered estimates for organization only. They are not pharmacy inventory, do not confirm that medication remains usable, and do not change the prescribed dose.
Travel and optional Apple Watch
Changing time zones can change displayed reminder times. The App cannot decide whether to preserve local clock times or elapsed intervals for a particular medicine. Confirm the travel plan with a pharmacist or prescriber. If you use the optional Apple Watch companion, actions and transfers may be delayed or unavailable; verify the final record and schedule on the iPhone.
Appointments, symptoms, measurements, and injection sites
Appointment reminders are organizational alerts and may fail. Symptom, pain, mood, and measurement entries record only what the user types; the App does not monitor them, determine whether a value is normal or safe, identify a diagnosis, detect deterioration, or call for help. Injection-site entries are history only. The App does not recommend the next injection site, injection technique, medicine, dose, or timing. Contact a qualified healthcare professional for advice and local emergency services for urgent symptoms.
Always verify changes
Prescription instructions can change. Before resuming a paused or archived schedule, confirm that the saved medicine, strength, amount, route, timing, dates, and special instructions still match the current prescription. Pausing or removing an App schedule does not mean a healthcare professional told you to stop a medicine.
No healthcare relationship
Using the App, reading this site, or emailing support does not create a doctor-patient, pharmacist-patient, or other professional healthcare relationship. Support cannot evaluate symptoms, interpret prescriptions, or recommend treatment.
