Support & Data Choices

Support cannot answer medical emergencies

For urgent symptoms, a suspected wrong dose, poisoning, or another emergency, contact your local emergency services or poison-control service. For medication instructions, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Before relying on a schedule

  1. Copy the medication name, strength, amount, route, interval, dates, and special directions from the current prescription.
  2. If you used a label photo, compare every suggested field with the physical label.
  3. Check every generated clock time before saving.
  4. If anything is unclear or inconsistent, do not guess—ask the dispensing pharmacist or prescriber.

Notifications are not appearing

  1. Open your device settings and find Notifications → Med Admin. On Android, also check battery restrictions if reminders are delayed.
  2. Turn on Allow Notifications, Sounds, and the alert types you want.
  3. Check whether Focus, Do Not Disturb, Scheduled Summary, or a battery-saving mode is delaying the alert.
  4. Open the prescription in Med Admin and confirm reminders are enabled and the schedule is not paused or archived.
  5. Confirm the device time zone, date, first-dose time, and prescribed interval.

Notifications are a convenience and are not guaranteed. Keep another reliable method for time-critical medication.

On Apple devices: Apple Watch is not updating

  1. Confirm the Apple Watch is paired with the iPhone and the Med Admin Watch app is installed.
  2. Open Med Admin on the iPhone, open Care, and choose Sync Apple Watch.
  3. Keep Bluetooth and Wi-Fi available and briefly open both apps.
  4. After a Watch action, verify Taken, Skip, or Snooze in the iPhone App. Do not rely on the Watch as the only record.

Travel and time zones

Open a medication and review Travel schedule before applying a different time zone. Wall-clock mode keeps the entered clock times in the selected zone. Elapsed-time mode preserves the intervals from the home time zone and may display different clock times. The App does not decide which method is medically appropriate. Confirm the plan with a pharmacist or prescriber before travel.

On supported Apple devices: the label photo cannot be scanned

The current Android version uses manual prescription entry and does not offer label-photo recognition.

Your privacy and data choices

The current Med Admin version has no App account or developer-operated server. Medication records, appointments, and private health-journal entries are kept in the App's local storage on your device, so support cannot view or remotely change them.

Change or remove your name

Open the profile button, edit or clear the optional preferred name, and save. The name is stored only on this device.

Correct information

Open a medication, choose Edit, compare the record with the current prescription, and save only after verification.

Stop reminders

Pause or archive the medication in the App, or disable Med Admin notifications in your device settings. This changes the App only—it is not advice to stop treatment.

Remove a medication

Use the remove control in Med Admin. Existing administration history may remain so past records stay understandable.

Correct or remove a health entry

Open Care → Health journal and use the edit or remove control beside an appointment, symptom, measurement, or injection-site record. Removing an appointment also cancels its pending reminder.

Delete all local data

Delete Med Admin from the device. On Apple devices, manage any iCloud or computer backups separately.

Camera and Photos

The optional photo feature is available on supported Apple devices. Change or revoke access at any time in iOS Settings. Manual prescription entry remains available on every supported platform.

Create a PDF report

Use Create and share PDF in Med Admin, review the report, and choose a destination in your device's sharing interface. Protect or delete exported copies through the selected service or file location.

Apple Watch data

Remove the Med Admin Watch app to stop companion use. Medication records remain on the iPhone; the Watch may retain the current next-dose card until the app is removed or updated.

Public support requests

Technical requests use the public Med Admin project page. Never include your name, prescription, medication list, or other personal or health information.
