MED ADMIN

Terms of Use

Effective and last updated: September 3, 2026

Important

Med Admin is a reminder and record-keeping tool. It is not a healthcare professional, prescribing service, diagnostic service, medical device for emergency monitoring, or substitute for professional medical advice.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to your use of the Med Admin Android, iPhone, iPad, and optional Apple Watch application (the "App"), operated by Med Admin ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Store license

The App is licensed, not sold. The mandatory license and usage terms of the store from which you obtained the App also apply. On Apple platforms, this includes Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement and applicable App Store Usage Rules. Google Play terms apply when you obtain the Android version through Google Play. These Terms supplement the applicable store terms with safety and service conditions specific to Med Admin.

3. What Med Admin does

The App lets you manually enter information from a prescription label, optionally use on-device text recognition on supported Apple devices to suggest fields, calculate clock times from an interval you enter, schedule local medication and appointment reminders, record scheduled or as-needed medication actions, keep a patient-entered supply estimate, review travel time-zone changes, keep private appointment and health-journal records, create local PDF reports, and use an optional paired Apple Watch companion.

The App does not issue a prescription, choose a medication or dose, decide whether a medicine is appropriate, check for drug interactions or allergies, interpret ambiguous directions, or advise what to do after a late, missed, duplicated, or vomited dose.

Health-journal entries and reports are patient-created organization records. The App does not diagnose or interpret symptoms, pain, mood, measurements, or injection sites; monitor a condition; detect an emergency; recommend an injection site; or create a medical certificate or clinically verified record.

4. Your safety responsibilities

You are responsible for:

5. Reminders are not guaranteed

Medication and appointment notifications can be delayed, suppressed, or missed because of permission settings, Focus or Do Not Disturb modes, battery state, operating-system behavior, device time changes, software errors, a powered-off device, or other circumstances outside our control. Do not rely on Med Admin as the only safeguard for time-critical medication, appointments, or emergency care.

Time-zone conversion, supply subtraction, and PDF output can also be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Review the displayed schedule after travel and compare all records with the current prescription. If you use the optional Apple Watch companion, verify Watch actions in the iPhone history.

6. Missed doses, side effects, and emergencies

Do not use the App to decide whether to take, repeat, skip, stop, or change a dose. Follow the prescription label and instructions from your healthcare professional. Ask a pharmacist or prescriber what to do about a late or missed dose or unexpected symptoms.

If you believe you took the wrong medicine or dose, are experiencing a serious reaction, or have another emergency, contact your local emergency services or poison-control service immediately. Do not wait for an App response or support email.

7. Who may use the App

You must be legally capable of accepting these Terms. Med Admin is not designed for children to manage medication independently. A parent, guardian, or appropriately qualified caregiver must supervise use involving a minor or a person who cannot independently verify prescription information.

8. Acceptable use

You may use the App for personal medication organization in accordance with law. You may not:

9. Privacy and device access

The current App stores records locally and does not provide an account or developer-operated cloud sync. On Apple devices, an optional paired Apple Watch receives limited next-dose information directly from the iPhone. A PDF report leaves the App only when you choose a destination in the device's sharing interface. Anyone with access to your unlocked device, optional Watch, exported files, or chosen sharing destination may be able to see medication, appointment, or health-journal information. You are responsible for securing those devices and managing camera, photo, notification, sharing, and backup settings. Our handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Availability, changes, and discontinuation

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the App. We do not promise that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every device, or able to preserve data after device failure, operating-system changes, or uninstallation.

11. No professional relationship

Using Med Admin or contacting support does not create a doctor-patient, pharmacist-patient, fiduciary, or other healthcare professional relationship. Support cannot answer medical questions or interpret your prescription.

12. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of opportunity, or loss arising from inaccurate entries, missed notifications, device failure, or use of the App contrary to prescription instructions. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or other liability protected by mandatory law.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, without limiting mandatory rights you may have under the law of your usual place of residence. Courts in Qatar will have jurisdiction where permitted by applicable law. Mandatory terms from Apple, Google, or another store provider may contain separate law and forum provisions that apply to your store license.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms when the App or applicable requirements change. The revised version will be posted here with a new effective date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or request consent before material new terms apply.
